Hello there, I'm Abigayle!
I am a girl with a camera, a vision, and a passion! I have always been a logical thinker with an artistic side, expressed in many ways over the years through dance, piano, singing, and the visual arts.
I love any opportunity to get behind the lens, but if I could shoot one thing for the rest of my life, it would be wedding days. The buzz of excitement in the air pre-ceremony, the support felt between the couple and their closest friends and family, the palpable joy of the reception and afterparty, and of course, the beauty of seeing two people officially become husband and wife, pledging their lives to each other.

How it started...
Taking photos is something I've always been passionate about, but that didn't truly come into focus (haha, get it?) until I was in college.
As a kid, I remember using disposable cameras, my mom's point-and-shoot, my iPod- anything - to take pictures of things that inspired me, my favorite people, and moments I wanted to remember forever. Exhibit A to the right, middle school me showing off my entries in the youth art competition at the Georgia National Fair (circa 2011). When I entered my senior year of high school, my grandmother gifted me with my first big girl camera in honor of my late grandfather, who had been a wedding photographer for decades. That gift was the true catalyst of Abigayle Elise Photography, which was launched during my sophomore year of college.

How it's going..
In June 2024, I made the official shift to full-time photographer in order to serve my clients better and enjoy some flexibility in this new chapter of my life. Since then, I'm blessed to say that I've gotten to work with some of the most amazing people, both clients and fellow creatives, and I cannot to see what God brings next!
In my photography, my aim is always to capture you and those you love in the most genuine way possible through a mixture of posing and prompting, with a focus on movement. I believe the most beautiful images come from the in-between moments, when you forget I'm there with my camera, and your personality or unique love story shines through. If that sounds like something you're in to, you're my kind of person!
I am excited to meet you and hear your story. Inquire below and let's work together to preserve your most precious moments!

When I'm not "the photographer"...
Off-duty, you can find me refining my craft of singing opera (what I went to college for!), teaching my students how to better their voice, or learning how to live life as the best wife I can be. As you can tell, I wear many hats! I love coffee (with oat milk and vanilla, please), The Band CAMINO, Gilmore Girls (I have watched the entire series multiple times), working out at OrangeTheory Fitness, and hanging with my husband, Curtis.
